Most of our instructors have 5000+ hours and often do commercial work like fire fighting or heliski on the side. In the Canadian rotor industry we do not have the option of instructor as entry level work. Which companies hire 300 hour pilots? Have you made a list and started contacting them? Have you visited any of them in person? How many chief pilots/ops managers know your name? How many of their names do you know? Many/most of those jobs that are not CFI will require a lot more effort than emailing resumes out. What have you done for networking and research, before during and after training so far?
